The Research Professorship provides funding to full professors who have made significant contributions to research and are dedicated to mentoring the next generation of medical professionals in the field of Neuroscience, Neurology & Neurosurgery.
The Research Professorship Award has been given based on the following criteria,
Drug Development in the field of Neuroscience, Neurology & Neurosurgery.
Translational Research in Neuroscience, Neurology & Neurosurgery.
Awards are given based on individual merit and availability of funds.
Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify for the Research Professorship:
The applicant must be a medical Professional working in any country with a full-time faculty appointment in a University/Hospital.
The applicant must currently hold the rank of full professor (or equivalent) at any academic University.
The applicant expect to spend 75% of time during the award period dedicated to research (applies to total research, not just the proposed project), including leading a team of researchers (in the lab) and mentoring junior faculty and trainees

The Career Development Award (CDA) of ACNM provides research funding to clinical investigators who have received their initial faculty appointment, as they work to establish an independent clinical research program. This research must have a patient-oriented focus, including a clinical research study and/or translational research involving human subjects.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify for the Career Development Award:
The applicant must be a medical Professional working in any country with a full-time faculty appointment in a University/Hospital.
The applicant must be in the first to third year of a full-time primary faculty appointment in a University/Hospital at the time of grant submission.

The applicant should be able to commit more than 50% of full-time effort in research (applies to total research, not just the proposed project) during the award period.
The applicant should have a mentor from the sponsoring institution who must provide a letter of support. If the mentor is not an ACNM Member, a supporting letter from an ACNM Member from the sponsoring institution must be included.
Eligible faculties are allowed to hold only one grant from ACNM at a time.

The ACNM Long-term International Fellowship (LIFe) provides early-career by providing the support and resources needed to advance their training by deepening their relationship with a mentor from the developed countries. During the one-year fellowship, the recipients receive valuable training and experience. Awards are given based on individual merit and availability of funds.

The applicant must be a Life Time member of ACNM, or a pending member awaiting acceptance.
The applicant must be a medical Professional in the field of Neuroscience, Neurology & Neurosurgery who has completed a subspecialty training program.
The applicant must have less than 10 years of experience in the field of Neuroscience, Neurology & Neurosurgery.
